Electrosub 2019

Electrosub 2019, Budapest – clearly success

Visitors and booth area 40% up!

The Electrosub Conference and Fair was organized second times in Budapest 3-5 April 2019.

The National Electronics Society of Hungary and its partners decided to create a complex professional and business forum focusing to electronics industries to help production, quality improvement, development and innovation in 2017.

The Electrosub provides opportunities for market players to meet each other, introduce products, services, explore possibilities, and build their network. The idea seems to work, and the second times announced event clearly brought success, and justified the needs of the event.

The Electrosub 2019 had 97 exhibitors from 12 countries, on 1300 sq.m booth area, and 42 presentations in the two conference rooms, and 1500 visitors during the 3 days.

The event had 22 sponsors who were exhibitors and conference lecturers as well.

The main patron of the event was Mr. Laszló Palkovics Minister of Innovation and Technology, and the patron  was Mr. Zoltán Birkner President of National Research, Development, and Innovation Office.

The Electrosub was supported by the most important professional associations and media.

A popular accompanying event was the IPC (Association Connecting Electronics Industries) Hand Soldering Competition at the IPC’s booth. The competition was a regional qualification for the final of World Hand Soldering Championship, which will take place in Munich, November 2019. As Mr. Philippe Leonard Director of IPC Europe said, the competition in Budapest had the highest number of registrations among the similar IPC HSCs throughout in Europe due to the excellent organizing work of the local IPC accredited training center, Microsolder Kft. No an empty time slot remained. The winner in this year was Mr. Istvan Bidlek of Elektromont Kft, who won in 2017, too. Beside his cash prize, he has been invited to the world final to Munich at Productronica.

The Electrosub also was the venue of prize ceremony of “ESD Coordinator of the Year” competition announced second times (the first one in 2017) by D&Tsa Bt. The jury had evaluated numerous applications this year, and found Mr. Gábor Benke the best.

An exciting point of the exhibition was the show of the best works of 22nd National Electronics and Design Competition. This competition served for talented students of technical high schools in Hungary, and Hungarian language schools in surrounded countries. The competition had been organized for 22 years by Divelex Bt.

Asked visitors and exhibitors answered almost exclusively “yes” to the question, if they want to take part again on the next Electrosub Conference and Fair.

The organizing committee of the event is going the work on. They want to adjust the concept to the requirements of visitors, exhibitors, and sponsors, and support increasing and developing the electronics industry in Hungary. Even they would like to extend the event to have regional importance with more international participations.
